Information about the priest, record holder or traditional route involved in your case, and the centre in India it is connected with, where it is appropriate to share it.

A clear statement of what happened: what was asked, what the priest was able to do, and where the case ended.

Signature status
Whether the priest treated the remote update as complete, entered it and left space for a family signature on a future visit, or required an in-person step. We tell you plainly which applies to your family.

Where rites were arranged: what was performed
On the £595 service, a record of which rites were arranged and performed, the date and place, and the priest involved — who may be the same priest who holds your family's Bahi, or a different one.

Supporting confirmation where permitted
Any photographs, priest audio or video, messages or acknowledgements the priest permits and provides. What this looks like varies from case to case and none of it is guaranteed.
What confirmation may come back
Indian Archive manages and records the case even where the custodian does not permit photography. The form of confirmation available varies according to the priest and the way the case is completed.
For the Bahi side

Family History Research
Families who specifically want to investigate historic family-register entries and ancestral lineage can use our secondary research service. Where a custodian permits material to be shared, any such material supplied during research is translated as part of that case — but no particular photograph, register-page image, recording or document can be guaranteed, so no translation of it can be guaranteed either.
