Could your family have records at more than one centre?
Some families' records could plausibly sit at more than one centre. You choose how many to include, up to four.
Timeline
Typical research completes within 2–10 weeks. Complex, specialist or multi-centre cases may take longer.
The right route depends on your family's ancestral place and tradition. See the centres we work with.
Current research timing
Monsoon conditions may cause a slight delay to some field research and travel. We will keep you informed if this affects your case.
Free register-route assessment
Not sure where your records may be held?
Start with the free assessment. We use your ancestral village, district, state, caste and gotra to suggest the most likely register route for your family.
Free, with no obligation to continue.
No guarantee of a match or update
A register entry or update depends on identifying the appropriate register holder, the evidence available and the register holder accepting the family connection. Research may also conclude with a documented no-match report where no suitable record is found.
